  • Wat Yai Chaimongkol
    The highlight of the temple is the large pagoda, about 60 m tall, it was renovated during the reign of King Naresuan the Great. Chaimongkol incantations have been found contained within the chapel. It is enshrined Phra Phutthachai Mongkol, the principal Buddha image which is the sacred object of the temple. In addition, within the temple is the shrine of King Naresuan the Great which was completed in the year 2001 as well.

    Wat Niwet Thammaprawat Ratchaworawihan is a first-class royal monastery, Rajaworawihan type, under the Thammayut Nikaya, located at Ban Len Subdistrict, Bang Pa-In District Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. His Majesty King Chulalongkorn ordered it to be built as a place for performing royal merits when he had to temporary stay at Bang Pa-In Palace. It was built in Gothic style of architecture imitating the Christian Church

    Paniad Elephant Kraal is a place for catching elephants in front of the throne. Originally, they used to use the area next to the Chankasem Palace until the reign of Maha Chakkraphat; then it was moved to the current location. In the Ayutthaya period, elephants were highly important animals; they are vehicle of the nobles for travelling on land, and it is like a battle tank or an important tool for leading troops to fight in the battle, especially if it is a white elephant - the auspicious and majestic being of the King as well. The King shall be pleased to bring them to the party and adorned with dignity King in the Ayutthaya period would always come to see the elephants because in addition to being the process for selecting elephants, it is also a kind of entertainment.q

The first one was built on the east side in the year B.E. 2035 by King Ramathibodi II to contain the relics of Somdej Phra Borom Trai Lokanat (father).
